My name is Bethany Drake and I'm an illustrator based in Dorset, UK

After graduating from the Arts University Bournemouth with an illustration degree, I began freelance illustrating and creating my own illustrated products that I sell at markets and in my Etsy store.

I have been driven by my love of characters and narrative and focus on these areas within my illustration work. I have a particular interest in children's picture books where I enjoy bringing stories to life!

The products I sell are centred around fun animal-based characters  - with a particular best seller being the sausage dog eco-friendly wrapping paper!

I create my illustrations using traditional materials such as gouache paint and colouring pencils, then translate the designs onto the desired application.
